Is Paussible free?
Yes. And when it launches, every pause stays free forever — that's the design, not a launch-week offer.
Does it work offline?
Fully. Every feature — pauses, journal, affirmations, lock, themes — runs on your phone, no internet needed. There's no account to create and nothing that follows you around.
What does Paussible track?
Nothing. No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no third-party SDKs. Your pauses, notes and settings live on your device and nowhere else.
Why are there no streaks or scores?
Because a number you didn't choose is a shame surface. Research on shame and avoidance says a broken streak predicts abandonment; autonomy research says people keep what they choose freely. There is nothing to break in Paussible, on purpose. The full reasoning is on the science page.
Is this a meditation app?
No. A pause here is a minute or two — breathing, stretching, stepping outside, a warm cup, two minutes of nothing. If you want a long sit, other apps do that beautifully. This is the minute you actually have.
Can Sunny chat with me?
No, and that's deliberate. Sunny's journal notes are written in advance, openly labelled as such, and chosen by your words from a fixed set. Nothing in the app pretends to understand you — an honest character beats a fake friend.
What is Pause Lock, exactly?
You pick apps that "rest" on a schedule you set. Open one while it's resting and Paussible offers a two-minute breather first — after which you can continue. It's a pause before the app, never a wall.
Does the voice guidance send my voice anywhere?
The voice guidance is pre-recorded, warm, and entirely on your phone. "Say It Aloud" listens only while you hold the button — your voice never leaves the device.
Android or iOS?
Android first — Google Play, soon. An iOS version is very much wanted; we'll say more the moment there's real news, not before.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → delete my data — three plain steps, everything gone. Uninstalling also removes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, because there is no anywhere else.
