Privacy policy

Paussible is private by design. It works entirely on your device.

What Paussible stores

Your pauses — which pauses you took and when, so the app can show them in your history.

Stored on device only.

Your journal — the notes you write and Sunny's replies. Stored on device only.
Your affirmations — likes, your own words, and favourites. Stored on device only.
Your settings — name (optional), theme, reminder times, PIN. The PIN is stored only as a

salted hash; the PIN itself never leaves your device.

Lock choices — which apps you asked Paussible to rest, and the schedule. Stored on device

only.

What Paussible does not do

No account. You never sign up or sign in.
No analytics. Nothing about your usage is measured, reported, or sold.
No internet access needed. Every feature works fully offline.
No ads. No trackers, no third-party SDKs that phone home.

Speech recognition

"Say It Aloud" listens so Paussible can confirm you read your affirmation. Recognition runs on your device only — your voice never leaves the phone, and no audio is recorded or stored.

Permissions Paussible asks for

Notifications — for the gentle pause reminders you scheduled.
Alarms — so reminders arrive at the minute you chose.
Display over other apps (optional, Pause Lock only) — to show the pause over an app you

chose to rest.

Accessibility service (optional, Pause Lock only) — to notice when a resting app opens.

Paussible only watches the apps you chose — nothing else.

Microphone (optional) — only while you hold "HOLD & SPEAK", on-device only.

Your data, your call

Export: Settings → export my data — everything as a file you keep.
Delete: Settings → delete my data — three steps, then everything is gone. Uninstalling

the app also removes all of it. Nothing is kept anywhere else.

This website

paussible.com is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies, loads no third-party scripts, and collects nothing. Your theme and mode choices live in your browser's local storage on your own device, and leave it never.
