Cookie policy
The honest version: paussible.com sets no cookies. Not for advertising, not for analytics, not for anything. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing tracking you.
What the site does store
Your own choices, in your own browser's local storage, on your own device:
- Colour theme (the tint you pick in the theme lab)
- Light or dark mode
- Language preference (if you pick one, you stay there next time)
- Sound on/off
- Consent choice (that you saw the notice and were fine with it)
Local storage is not a cookie: it never travels to a server, never identifies you to anyone, and you can clear it anytime in your browser settings. If you clear it, the site kindly asks again — and defaults to its friendly settings.
The notice you saw
Because the site respects the spirit of European privacy law, visitors whose device suggests they may be in the EU see a short notice first: no cookies, no trackers, preferences stay on the device. Tapping "fine by me" just stores that choice locally. Nothing changes about what the site does — it couldn't track you if it tried.
Third parties
None. The site loads no third-party scripts, and its tiny service worker only caches the site's own files on your device for faster repeat visits (offline included). Fonts are self-hosted, fonts are self-hosted, and the breathing tools and ambient sound are synthesised in your browser. Two optional, owner-enabled exceptions are disclosed in the privacy policy: a wishlist form endpoint (only when you submit the form) and a single, anonymous IP-location lookup (ipapi.co) on first visits, used only to offer the site in your language — no profile is built from it.
